The Introduction to Herring Puzzles and the First of the World Series. A Series of Puzzles designed to slowly fit together and build a world map. Each Puzzle representing a fragment of time to create a timeless world map. Hastings 113 represents the Battle of Hastings 1066, with a crest featuring a Lion and Dragon in gold. Around the outside is a poem engraved honouring the battle of Hastings 1066.

10 Shllings 171 is the first of the stamp series. A series of puzzles based on rare stamps around the world. The Puzzle featured a riddle of the Queen face facing the wrong way to hint towards another famous stamp: The Inverted Jenny - a rare stamp made famous by its inverted printing error.

The New Packaging for Herring Puzzles, featuring a metal tin, with another smaller metal tin with a slide lid, the tweezers and Herring Puzzles cloth.

The first puzzle we dropped had issues caused by insufficient packaging, so we updated our packaging and sent a replacement puzzle out to every one that had purchased the original Hastings 113. The New Hastings 11 was updated to feature a Lion, Dragon and Sword Whimsy pieces.

The second of the stamp series drops, 2 Five Shillings Penguin 355 the toughest puzzle in the collection so far with 355 pieces, based on the rare Five Shilling Penguin Stamp (1930)

The third of the stamp series drops, 10 cent Washington 256, based on the rare based on the George Washington F. Grill single Stamp (1868)

Introducing the first of the Playing Card series – the King Of Diamonds Jigsaw Puzzle.
Featuring 234 pieces, Crafted from solid polished brass, each piece boasts a luxurious golden sheen with a guillochè engraved finish. At the center of the puzzle stands the iconic King of Diamonds. A classic King of Diamonds playing card, featuring a crown, swords, throne and castle whimsies.
Only 40 of them were made.
Inside the puzzle is another small puzzle with a riddle leading to the pieces.

The Inverted Jenny 136 was a surprise drop with little to no word said on it beforehand. Only 40 of them were made.
The Inverted Jenny 136 is based on the Inverted Jenny. Issued in 1918, this 24-cent U.S. postage stamp was intended to celebrate the dawn of airmail service. But a single sheet of 100 stamps was printed with a stunning error: the Curtiss JN-4 “Jenny” biplane at the center appeared upside-down.
The cuts, are based on the fractal dragon curve – a shape of infinite complexity created through simple rules and repetition. First explored by mathematicians John Heighway, Bruce Banks, and William Harter in the 1960s, the Dragon Curve winds and folds like a mythical creature, revealing intricate patterns at every scale. The cuts have been changed to change it ‘challenging’ level. Featuring 136 pieces.

The Washington Stamp was sent out the and first Challenge puzzle was dropped.
The first challenge puzzle is the 1c Benjamin Franklin 366 Puzzle based on the 1868 Benjamin Franklin Grill Stamp.
Benjamin Franklin 366 was only available to owners of the Washington Puzzle. It was only available to those who either:
A. Send (email / instagram message) a completed photo of the Washington 256 puzzle (as it is a challenging puzzle) OR
B. Complete the riddle
It was the most challenging puzzle to date, similar cut pieces and size to the Five Shillings Penguin but slightly more challenging. It is 1 out of 2 of the most challenging puzzles I intended to make for the Stamp Series.

Hastings Blue 146 was based on the First Jigsaw Puzzle of Herring Puzzles - Hastings 113. It is part of the World Series - a series of Puzzles designed to fit together and build a World Map.
When Hastings 113 (the first Hastings puzzle) dropped not many people knew about Herring Puzzles. Slowly more people have come to know about Herring Puzzles and were worried they didn't have the first Puzzle of the World series so will always have a missing piece in the whole World Map design (which the World Series puzzles will come together to make). So I had made Hastings Blue 146 a chance to have the first puzzle of the World Map.
Blue Hastings had more whimsies! More pieces! I took all the feedback I had from Hastings 113 and put it all into Hastings Blue 146 - The poem around the outer edge of the puzzle is now bigger and more readable. The Horse whimsy now has all legs attached.
