Introducing the second of the Playing Card series – the Queen Of Diamonds Jigsaw Puzzle.
Featuring 121 pieces, Crafted from solid polished Brass metal, each piece boasts a luxurious golden sheen with a guillochè engraved finish. At the center of the puzzle stands the iconic Queen of Diamonds. A classic Queen of Diamonds playing card,
I thought who is the most famous Queen and thought of the Queen of England. The cuts are designed around a map of Buckingham Palace (The Queen of Englands Palace) and its surrounding areas. The Whimsies are placed in their landmark areas, the Cathedral whimsy being placed in the location of West Minster Cathedral, the Big Ben Clock Tower placed in the position of Big Ben, as the same for the West Minster Abbey whimsy and the Buckingham Palace whimsy. The Sword whimsy is placed in the same position and direction as St. George’s Drive. The train whimsy is placed on Pimlico tube station and the boat whimsy is placed in the Thames River and the horse whimsy is placed on Horseferry road.
There are 3 different style puzzle cuts in the Jigsaw Puzzle to differentiate between areas on the map. The River Thames is made with wave like cuts, the top around Buckingham Palace has a more organic cut and the middle body has cuts inspired by the dragon curve fractal design.
Only 40 of them will be made.
This puzzle with the 10 of Diamonds completes the Playing Card series. Please note, if both puzzles are ordered together they will be sent within one packaging.
